  • Erik McCauley – Managing Partner

    Erik McCauley is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Axiom Technology Group. Raised in Greenwich, CT, Erik completed his education at Bentley College in Waltham Massachusetts. Mr. McCauley has over 15 years of industry experience in the field of Information Technology Integration. He has experience working with some of the most respected Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Retail, Media, Marketing, Manufacturing and Construction firms across the United States.

    Prior to Co-Founding Axiom, Erik founded and sold IT Technology, a privately funded multi-million dollar Technology Services Company located in Fairfield County, CT. With an educational background in business processes and a deep understanding of technology solutions; Erik utilizes his unique blend of skills to consistently improve the Axiom Service Delivery Model to deliver extraordinary client experiences each and every day.

  • Fred Purdue

    Fred Purdue – Chief Technology Officer

    Fred is a founder partner and CTO at Axiom and is responsible for the firms overall technology strategy and direction.  He is an avid technologist with 15 years of experience in information technology delivery to focused primarily in the financial, hi-tech, retail, media and manufacturing sectors.  Prior to co-founding Axiom, Fred served as the Director of Technology for IT Technology, responsible for building the companies service delivery model from the ground up scaling the business’s service delivery by nearly 400% in 5 years. Fred has also held multiple Director level possition for various Wall Street and Connecticut based firms.

    Fred is also a managing partner of Purdue Enterprises, a privately held IT Management and Enterprise ERP/BI consulting firm. In addition to his professional life Fred is also an avid traveler who travels around the world, an outdoorsman, and an amateur chef.

  • James Donnelly – Vice President of Operations

    Jim Donnelly serves as Axiom’s VP of Operations responsible for the Service Delivery and Operations Management organizations. Prior to joining Axiom, Jim’s resume included posts as CIO at Warburg Pincus LLC, Senior Regional Manager at DLA Piper LLP, and Network Manager at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Jim’s keen eye for technical detail has allowed him to command operational excellence from the teams he has managed. This has resulted in a variety of successful implementations that leveraged project lifecycle and portfolio management tools for the integration of high performance systems and business processes improvement across the legal, healthcare and financial industries.

    A brief cross section of Jim’s areas of expertise includes Enterprise Systems Architecture, Legal Technology Management, Network Architecture and Service Desk Management. His broad range of knowledge is built on a foundation of practical experience enabling Jim to continually manage the Axiom Service Delivery Model to increasing levels of excellence, ensuring an extraordinary client experience.

  • Matthew McAloney – Director Of Network Operations

    Matthew McAloney is Axiom’s Director of Network Operations, and he came to the Company with a deep understanding of the diverse methodologies of implementation in technology solutions. For 12 years, Matthew had been the Operations Manager for a start-up multi country Internet Service Provider with offices in NY, CT, PA, NJ the UK and a team of 38, installing 2000+ client’s WAN infrastructure and back end connectivity.
    Matthew leverages his understanding of how systems integration is vital to the success of Axiom’s product offerings to ensure a quality end to end solution for its clients complicated environments.

    He has oversight into Network Operations, Field Services, Axiom’s Support Desk, and Application Development. His specialty is Environmental Integration, taking into consideration all aspects of how technology applications mesh and scale in a seamless fashion. This allows Axiom’s engineering team to deploy solid, scalable, intelligent solutions across diverse technologies.

  • Colin D’Angelo – Solutions Architect

    Colin D’Angelo is an Information Technology professional with over 10 years’ experience. He has extensive experience in understanding the technological needs unique to each client and is skilled in developing customized solutions that are delivered “On Time and On Budget.” Colin’s past experience includes assisting the New York City Government’s Human Services Division with the streamlining of its help desk support model and development of more efficient practices and procedures. Technology Consultant to the Diocese of Bridgeport and Network Administrator at Greenwich Catholic in Greenwich, CT.

    Colin later moved on to IT Technology under the direction of Erik McCauley. He was initially brought on as a Field Service engineer but quickly was promoted to Solutions Engineer under the direction of Fred Purdue. Colin now works with Axiom Technology Group as a Senior Solutions Architect and Project Manager. Within Axiom he manages numerous projects from server infrastructure overhaul to deployment of VPN portals for financial service organizations, and uses his extensive re-architecture experience to create efficient cost effective networks for their clients.

  • Maurizio Bertone – Solutions Architect

    Maurizio Bertone is an Information Technology professional with over 7 years’ experience. He has extensive experience working with 20-500 seat environments and has successfully performed over 60 projects for Axiom’s management team.

    Maurizio Bertone has extensive experience in VMware, Microsoft Windows 2008 Server, Microsoft Exchange 2007 and 2010 and has acted as Project Manager and Lead Engineer on over 10 major projects in the last 12 months for Axiom. Prior to joining the team here at Axiom, Maurizio Bertone worked at IT Technology under the direction of Erik McCauley and Fred Purdue. He embarked on his career beginning as a Helpdesk Engineer and was later promoted to Field Service Engineer before beginning his career as a Solutions Architect. Maurizio Bertone obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Penn State.
