Each year the Leadership Team here at Axiom gets together for a multi-day offsite planning session. This year we spent 2 1/2 days at Dulce Conference Center in Norwalk, CT.
The purpose? A chance to get together and review the organization’s accomplishments in the current year and to begin planning for the future. Axiom is all about our clients. We recognize that being the best in our industry, the IT consulting industry, isn’t something that lasts for more than a few months without quite a bit of proactive and strategic planning. We tell our clients that when we advise them on how to grow their businesses and sadly Axiom is no exception (its hard work!).
So what was on the agenda for this year? Quite a bit actually. While Axiom enjoyed its highest customer satisfaction scores to date in 2014, we believe there is quite a bit more we can do to continually impress our clients. For 2015 we are launching a revised client monitoring platform called Axiom Pulse+. Pulse+ will further improve our proactive communication with clients by adding additional custom application monitoring and also SMS alerting. We are also expanding our 24/7 offerings, strengthening our SLA response times and rolling out additional client documentation for site visits. That is just the tip of the iceberg; we also took a step back and looked at the efficiency of each of our internal departments, identifying bottlenecks highlighted by our clients & Technical Account Leads.
While each member of the leadership team presented their objectives, goals & metrics for 2015, we also revised our “Business Model Canvas” for the year to ensure our value proposition to our client’s remained strong.
