Project Management

The Axiom Solutions Team has over 10 years of experience managing IT projects for our clients. Whether it is a simple server replacement where data and applications must be migrated during off hours with zero impact to a user base, or an extensive relocation project, Axiom has the experience and planning to ensure success.

Recent projects include:

  • Developed a multi-stage deployment of a fully virtualized SAN environment for a two billion dollar financial service firm in Stamford, CT.  The plan included an initial virtualization of existing servers to new hardware and then to a final fully virtualized SAN environment with real-time replication to an offsite datacenter for a hot business continuity solution.
  • Deployed a high availability web portal for a financial services firm which enabled clients to securely login, view their holdings with the firm and run data driven real-time reports.  This project streamlined the organizations client communications ability over existing report models.
  • Starting from the ground up, reorganized a national electrical power distribution and control systems manufacture with its coast to coast IT related infrastructure.  This project required that all satellite offices are communicating on the same business platforms and enabled the client to expand the efficiency of its operation.
  • Rolled out a highly available email platform for a multi-billion dollar hedge fund that crossed multiple state lines and enabled the organization to reaming fully functional in the event of a failure in a particular office or a failure across multiple offices.  This project allowed the client to continue secure communications with its +200 employees in the event of a failure.
  • Designed an Outlook Calendar based tool for room and resource management for the facilities department of a multi-location NFP campus in order to create a central management and reporting platform for the management of over 60 resource elements.
  • Acted as compliance and due diligence liaison for clients during SEC, NASD, Kroll, and 25+ Broker-Dealer Audits
